The second day of World Hepatitis Day 2012 kicked off with much fun and enthusiasm as the Guinness World Record attempt was made to perform, as many as possible, the "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" actions within a 24 hour period starting at 12pm.
There were also numerous musical and dance performances to draw in and entertain the crowd, including a special appearance by Ana Raffali, together with the Jazzercise team and some fencers.
It's summer holidays. Add to that, a rowdy, fun-seeker and care-free bunch of teens on the loose, drunk in their imbalances of fluctuating hormones and you'll get an explosion of flavourful happenings on a Friday night out!
That was what it appeared to a thirty-something old dude happened to be roped in (unprepared) to photo document Methodist College's Midsummer Masquerade dinner night in a week's notice. To another teen, it was just another day at work having fun.
After a long and arduous preparation for over 2 months with limited resources, the World Hepatitis Day 2012; the Malaysia Campaign, was finally launched at One Utama on the 27 July 2012.
The Honourable Minister of Health, Y.B. Dato' Sri Liow Tiong Lai officiated this momentous event at High Street, One Utama, in the presence of a huge turn-out of sponsors, passers-by, media and mall goers.
BIG Tree, the outdoor media company was kind enough to sponsor some 10 ft x 40 ft billboard adverts for this year's World Hepatitis Day. The billboards are found in 5 different locations scattered across Klang Valley, in addition to numerous digital display screens at RapidKL/LRT stations and the escalator lobby at KLCC.
It's truly an indescribable and remarkable feeling seeing your works displayed in very large format at public places. A sense of achievement and pride indeed!
An invaluable insight into a full scale production commercial photo shoot involving Joanne Kam and Xandria Ooi from the Capital FM 88.9, Morning Radio Show: Talk of the Town. I assisted Adam Seow, a commercial photographer in this one day shoot recently in the middle of June.
It has been an amazing and rewarding experience having being able to witness a full scale commercial shoot from start to finish. Truly humbled, but leaving ever more hungry!
