It's been a really crazy period these past couple of weeks with non-stop family photography sessions. I signed off 2013 with a final shoot of a young family's portraits.
The children in this family portrait session were much easier to handle than a previous photography session at a client's home.
Just after a previous family photography session at a client's home last week, another good friend of mine turned up one Sunday afternoon for a photo shoot at my studio. It was a timely moment as I just had some new furnitures bought as props for shooting purposes. These will be used at both the primary and secondary studio area.
When it comes to photographing families, odd numbers are always great to work with!
It's the year-end holiday season now and most families will be looking to have a family photography session to mark the particular occasion or life's milestone. This family photography session was supposed to be held at my photography studio but eventually took place at the client's home.
All in all, the entire shoot lasted about 2 hours, which culminated in some really simple but spontaneous shots of mommy and daddy reliving their pre-wedding photography moments.
It was quite a moment's notice to be shooting this pre-wedding photography session for Jocelyn & Wilson but I was not about to let this pass despite lack of preparation. In fact, it was a good opportunity to exercise some creative muscles as to how best to photograph this lovely young couple.
The pre-wedding photography session was held at my boutique studio at Petaling Jaya. I had in mind before hand, two different "looks"or theme for lack of a better word.
