It’s my second visit to Australia in ten years; this time exploring South Australia’s cosmopolitan coastal capital of Adelaide. Unfortunately, it was only a short one week trip which coincided with pretty much the height of summer.
Thankfully, my arrival was met with a short respite from the heat; a somewhat cooler and more pleasant weather. As always, a southern hemisphere location means great directional lighting and clear – almost insanely surreal – blue skies.
Having a car afforded us the convenience and flexibility to move out of the city to explore the surrounding country side. Perfectly good news for my photographical aspirations, during which I could take my time and just soak in the bushland and its environment.
