I was engaged to undertake interior photography of a recently renovated condo unit at the Damansara Foresta development. The renovation works of this condo unit has been done by TOD Interior Design.
The brief was to capture the general layout of the kitchen, dining/living area and the rooms, along with the detailing and decorations of the place.
Renovation works on the Mudframes boutique SOHO photography studio began in early November 2012 in the vicinity of SS 2. The 4-storey corner unit is an old house in a rather old quiet PJ neighbourhood overlooking a playground.
This home photography studio is designed and built by Tunhon with a country-like and industrial-themed concept that serves to strike a balance between a functional creative working space and residential purposes.
Photographing interiors isn't always as straight forward as it seems. So when I was called upon for an interior photography assignment of a condominium at OUG, it was more of the "softer" skills than "hard" that matters.
This series of pictures is a combination of ambient composites and flash-balanced shots done over a period of 4-5 hours!
I was over at a friend's place for dinner when I decided to take a couple of shots of her lovely kitchen. It was a really nice and cozy kitchen to kill for.
The kitchen was decently organized, functional and aesthetically pleasing. It does transport one's experience back to that of an old english cottage in the country side.
