It's been two years since I last undertook the Sports and Music group photography of the British International School of Kuala Lumpur. Back then, I had very limited time for the group photography.
Two years later, the shooting schedule has been streamlined somewhat, many thanks to all the necessary experience, preparation and logistical arrangements that went into this year's shoot.
It's been two years since I last photographed the British International School to produce a set of high quality images to be used for their marketing purposes.
The last photo shoot was undertaken with a focus on the secondary school. This round calls for a focus on the primary and pre-school levels.
The Rec Room is a newly opened music recording studio located at Jalan Beka, Damansara Heights. I was engaged by the contractor responsible for the interior/construction works of the place to photo document the 3 studio rooms.
Basically, I was to portray the setup, fittings and lighting atmosphere of these 3 studio rooms for his portfolio records.
Just when I thought the last commercial shoot for The British International School KL was a pretty tough challenge, I was called in on a moment's notice to develop a new set of group shots again.
This time, it was the photographing of numerous groups of students for both the sports and music categories that would be printed really large to be hung on the wall (ranging from smallest A4 to largest A1!).
Speaking of coincidence, I’ve always wanted to explore working together with The British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) when I first heard about it a mere couple of months back. So it came as a huge surprise when they contacted me out of the blue in late April to enquire about my commercial photography services.
Within two weeks, I found myself at the school embarking on one of the most fulfilling and exciting projects for 2014.
