Spending a short one week summer in Helsinki was an exciting experience as it was my first time visiting a Scandinavian country. Much of the excitement stemmed from the many things I've read and seen in media about the culture, climate, education and economic prowess of the Nordic countries.
Unfortunately, it was a really short stay but it was indeed an exhilarating opportunity to explore the visual makeup of the bustling central business district and the amazing tranquility of coastal outdoors.

Not a single photo of the stereotypical temples.
Siem Reap is well known for its many Hindu temples, one of which is the famed Angkor Wat monument. However, my visit had been everything but the temples themselves. This short 3 days trip saw me exploring the country side, its people, their villages and way of life.
It had been an insightful and eye-opening experience of Cambodia minus all the hype surrounding the temples.
It has been my first time visiting Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, an island situated south of India in the Indian ocean. This short 5 day trip to Sri Lanka saw me spending only 1 day in Colombo, while the rest of my time was spent at the vicinity of Mirissa beach, Galle Fort and the rest at Ella, the "Cameron Highlands" of Sri Lanka.
Unfortunately, the only camera I had with me; the Fuji X-T1 broke down on me on the very first day!
