A celebration of the notion of "Separation" during a 3 days getaway outdoor break over in Kuching by kayaking, climbing Santubong mountain and blending into a quiet town in this part of Borneo.
And here I've found just the right piece of canvas to represent the current state of mind. The vast open ocean of South China Sea, from the perspective of grounded land. A fitting milestone marked in my diary of coastal escapades.
Exploring Ho Chi Minh city's residential streets and their quaint back alleys had been a laid-back, unique and adventurous experience. I wandered through a maze of narrow paths, driven along by the sound of chatter, a dog's barking, blaring TV, lounging tourists at B&Bs or the occasional laughter and cry of children.
Eventually, the path broke out into an open busy street, filled with bars, shops and restaurants. I picked a spot outside a bar and leaned on a street lamp, while observing the activities around me.
