Artistic Perspectives of Arthritic Patients

Arthritis has always been a vague understanding of a disease of the joints for as long as I can remember. I just know it as something that gives your joints the "wind chill". So it came as a welcomed opportunity to delve into the disease when I agreed to take part in Abbvie's worldwide art campaign named "Perspectives – Art, Inflammation and Me", to offer my perspectives of being an arthritic patient.

World Arthritis Day 2013

An Arthritis Walk event themed "Living Better Ageing Well" was held to commemorate World Arthritis Day (WAD) at Taman Keliling, Seremban. It's an annual event organised by Pertubuhan Artritis Negeri Sembilan (PANS). The objective of this event is to raise awareness for inflammatory arthritis. The walk began from the park on a 1.5 KM route and ended at the National Council of Women's Organisations (NCWO). An estimated number of 500 participants from all walks of life; arthritis patients, family, friends and the public joined in the pledge to Unite To Fight Arthritis.

World Contraception Day with Exeltis Pharma

Exeltis Pharma, a branded pharmaceutical business division of Chemo Group, the Spanish-based integrated healthcare multinational (headquarter in Madrid) has launched its drospirenone-contained oral contraceptive pills at a media briefing event held at PJ Hilton. This momentous occasion marking the entry of generic oral contraceptive pills into the Malaysian market coincided with the celebration of World Contraception Day which falls on the 26 September every year.
