Old school art by Dr. Edwin Ho
I hopped from shop to shop in a zig-zag fashion, entering them whenever something piqued my curiosity. Towards the end of the street, by the river, I saw Patron Music & Arts, a fine art studio-gallery. I peered into its glass door. It was dark in the main hallway immediately behind the door. A sign next to it says, "Please ring the bell". I did. A man towards the end of the hallway rose, half asleep and flustered. I wondered had I rudely interrupted him in whatever he was doing. I then looked at the sign next to the door. It read, "Dr. Edwin Ho, PhD (Fine Art)". Now this is interesting.

I am “Being There” for my first joint photo exhibition
The official launch of "Being There" photo exhibition in conjunction with World Hepatitis Day, Malaysia campaign on June 19th, 2011, Sunday at 4pm. A huge crowd was present to celebrate this momentous occasion where more than 40 pictures were on display. Visual works of photographers, namely Melvin Tong, Azalia Suhaimi, Rupajiwa Studio and Firdaus Herrow were exhibited, thus presenting a unique mix of portraits, travel, light painting, fine art and documentary-style photography.

Getting to “Being There”
Finally, I'll be having my first joint photo exhibition at Pelita Hati Gallery next Wednesday, titled "Being There" in support of World Hepatitis Day, Malaysia. I'll be exhibiting 22 limited edition 24" x 16" prints (all first edition out of seven each), printed on Digital Type-C print on Kodak Endura Paper. Most of the pictures are drawn from my Coast to Coast series and extensive travel collections (UK, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Japan and Oman). All prints will be on sale. A portion from the proceeds of the sale will go to the World Hepatitis Day, Malaysia fund.
