A notion of Bali without its temples
Is it possible to visit and enjoy Bali while getting drown in all its natural charm and beautiful beaches sans the temples? I did just that, in a 6 days long escapade, criss crossing through the middle, southern and eastern parts of the island. Not a single photo of the stereotypical Bali temples.
Of course, the rather “stereotypical” Balinese terraced paddy fields were not to be missed in my photo hunt. I started the trip with a rather early discovery of trying to find a Beetle in a haystack, literally,…
…and somewhere along the way, finding a wooden ladder lodged between a rock and a cold hard place at the Suluban beach in Uluwatu, Bali.
Truly quotidian objects that exude allusions to life’s many little quirks and conundrums. All photos taken with Fuji X-T1.
