Looking Beyond Siem Reap Temples On A Short Trip
Siem Reap is well known for its many Hindu temples, one of which is the famed Angkor Wat monument. However, my visit had been everything but the temples themselves. This short 3 days trip saw me exploring the country side, its people, their villages and way of life. It had been an insightful and eye-opening experience of Cambodia minus all the hype surrounding the temples.

Sri Lanka: First Look
It has been my first time visiting Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, an island situated south of India in the Indian ocean. This short 5 day trip to Sri Lanka saw me spending only 1 day in Colombo, while the rest of my time was spent at the vicinity of Mirissa beach, Galle Fort and the rest at Ella, the "Cameron Highlands" of Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, the only camera I had with me; the Fuji X-T1 broke down on me on the very first day!

Rural landscape of Borneo
I made a trip back to Sarawak, Borneo over Christmas as my last excursion for 2015. Shortly after touching down in Kuching via the first flight of the day, we drove for almost 4.5 hours eastward to Batang Ai Dam. We arrived in the afternoon and the sun was out in full while an orang asli was preparing his boat to be loaded with goods.
